Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) is Africa's highest peak at 19,341 feet above sea level. A top spot for worldwide hikers and climbers, it features a snow-capped peak and varied ecosystems during the ascent. The mountain provides a tough but gratifying adventure for nature lovers, with different routes for varying abilities. We offer the following routes below:

Machame Route (6-7 days)

The Machame Route is one of the most popular routes for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Known for its stunning scenery and high success rates, the Machame Route typically takes around 6-7 days to complete. This route is favored by many climbers for its gradual ascent, which allows for better acclimatization to the altitude. Along the way, trekkers pass through diverse landscapes, from lush rainforests to alpine deserts, providing a truly immersive experience. While the Machame Route is considered challenging, it is highly rewarding, offering breathtaking views and a sense of achievement upon reaching the iconic Uhuru Peak.

Western breach Route (6-7 days)

The Western Breach Route is a variation of the Machame Route, following the exact same route but breaking off at Lava Tower. The unique feature about this route is that you climb directly up the Western Breach up to the lip of the crater. You then get to camp one night inside the crater (Yes! Inside a volcano’s crater!). This is a very challenging route and more exposed, but the sense of achievement once completed is incredible!

LEMOSHO Route (7-8 days)

The Lemosho Route is another variation of the Machame Route. This route adds an extra day and offers a gentler approach to Shira Camp on the Machame Route, providing an extra day of acclimatization and fewer crowds.
